Kundalini Yoga for pregnancy incorporates safe, simple, and effective exercises designed to strengthen and relax your rapidly changing body, preparing you for the challenges and joys of a conscious childbirth. The classes offer a complete physical work out, increasing strength and flexibility while relieving back pain, heartburn, constipation and many of the other discomforts common to pregnancy.

Additional elements such as deep relaxation, meditation and guided visualizations enhance breath awareness, release stress, fear and uncertainty and promote healthy sleep. Such a holistic practice also develops a profound connection between you and your baby, helping you to embrace the changes ahead and building confidence in your intuitive self. All of this will make your pregnancy and labour experiences as positive, natural and relaxed as possible, easing you gently into motherhood!

Post-natal yoga / mums and babies

The mother and baby yoga class was an excellent opportunity to take time out to relax, forget about my hectic day and just enjoy my baby. I feel energised and have made good friends in the class. Faith, mother of three!

This gentle class will provide a rare chance to stop, breath and focus within, leaving you recharged to return to your baby and the many demands of motherhood. It will also provide the opportunity to meet and share with other mums, over a cup of yogi tea.

While the class focuses on gradually regaining strength and tone in your abdominal region, it also has many other benefits. Kundalini Yoga is a complete holistic workout of mind, body and soul. It is the perfect yoga for mothers as it helps you to relax, think and feel intuitively, and gives you the courage to accept and let go. Taking this time to connect deeply with the mother inside you in turn allows your little ones to grow and blossom into their own true selves. You will discover patience and muscles you never knew you had, in equal doses!

Mums and babies classes include some gentle baby yoga and massage. Babies will benefit just by being in the same room and absorbing your wonderful healing energy.
